The Biggest Influences of Fashion

Fashion is influenced by almost everything. From the seasons to peoples moods and from nature to culture. There are also places that influence fashion such at Paris, Milan and New York. Magazines such as Vogue, ELLE and Marie Claire play a big part in influencing individual peoples fashion and the fashion world in general. People such as Anna Wintour, Marylin Monroe and the more recent Lady Gaga have all made their mark in the fashion world influencing designs and producing the latest fashions.

                     

New York- The New York fashion week starts off the calender for Fashion Weeks. It is followed by London, Milan and Paris. Theses catwalk shows have a huge influence on the fashion industry.

Paris- It is know not only as the city of love but also the fashion capital of the world. People talk of going shopping in Paris because of its expensive couture and beautiful scenery. Paris fashion week is held four times in a year and show cases the fashion talent in France.

The Materials that Made

There are many different types of materials that clothes are made from. From our every day denim jeans to our once a year silk gowns. These materials are found in countries such as India, China and over fifteen of the U.S. states. Most materials are made from a mixture of  two or more different materials such as :

Denim-woven blue cotton wrap yarn and a white cotton filling yarn

or a single material such as:

Silk-mainly obtained from the cocoons of the mulberry silkworm larvae

However our accessories and shoes are made from more slightly more adventurous materials. For example our leather bags and shoes are made mainly from calltehide and our beloved Uggs are made from sheepskin on the outside and the fleece on the inside.
