Fasion of theContinents

This week I am going to talk about the main fashion trends in some of the world’s seven continents. The climate in each of the continents is hugely varied so it is obvious that the fashion would be too.
Europe:
There are very few countries in Europe with that have traditional clothes that they wear every day. Europe has a very high rate of people wearing designer clothes and the latest catwalk trends. In the hotter countries such as Italy and Spain people often wear light clothing all year round whereas in places such as Ireland and Norway they get much colder in the winter and therefore our wardrobes change with the seasons.

North America:
North America is home to some of the world’s top designers. Tommy Hilfiger, Ralf Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld are some of the most well know of the bunch. What you wear in North America very much determines your social status in school, college and even the workplace. Teens are especially put under a lot of pressure to have the designer everything in order to be accepted in school society.

Asia:
Out of all of the seven continents the fashion traditions of the countries in Asia are definitely the most spectacular. In India women traditionally wear beautiful sarees which are seen in a variety of vibrant colours and are decorated with beautiful beads. Then we move to china where dresses such as the cheongsam are commonly worn by women. These are traditionally decorated dresses and are sought after in countries other that china.
